this “mix of your favorite hits from your favorite ladies of the 80s and 90s” was the only thing that got me through my hour-long 5-hours-of-sleep-last-night-cause-you-just-had-to-go-to-the-bar-for-bluegrass-night bus commute this morning. if you were wondering if it was good, the transition between “i wanna dance with somebody (who loves me)” and “girls just wanna have fun” woke me right the hell up. you guys, it blends gloria estefan’s “conga” into stevie nicks’ “edge of seventeen” seamlessly. by the time i made it around to “celebrity skin,” i was about to knock out my seat partner with barely restrained chair-dancing.

also, it starts with “cannonball.” enough said.
