the weirdest summer job i ever had was an under-the-table gig the summer before i turned 14, teaching tap-dancing to little kids at the dance studio i frequented. it wasn’t that weird, and i enjoyed the hell out of it, and even getting kicked in the shins by a 6 year old wearing metal-reinforced shoes cannot beat hallie’s story of carl and his penis paintings.
